'Stone' in the Bible
"There isn't a person among you who would give his son a stone if he asked for bread, is there?
Jesus asked them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing, and it is amazing in our eyes.'?
The person who falls over this stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush anyone on whom it falls."
But he told them, "You see all these things, don't you? I tell all of you with certainty, there isn't a single stone here that will be left standing on top of another. They will all be torn down."
Then he placed it in his own new tomb, which he had cut out of the rock. After rolling a large stone across the door of the tomb, he left,
So they went and secured the tomb by putting a seal on the stone in the presence of the guards.
Suddenly, there was a powerful earthquake, because an angel of the Lord had come down from heaven, approached the stone, rolled it away, and was sitting on top of it.
Haven't you ever read this Scripture: "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
