'Wasteland' in the Bible
from Bamoth to the valley in the territory of Moab near the Pisgah highlands that overlook the wasteland.

The desolate fields will be cultivated, replacing the former wasteland that everyone who passed by in times past had noticed.
They will say, "This wasteland has become like the garden of Eden, and what used to be desolate ruins are now fortified and inhabited."
A fire destroys in front of them,and behind them a flame devours.The land in front of themis like the Garden of Eden,but behind them,it is like a desert wasteland;there is no escape from them.
Egypt will become desolate,and Edom a desert wasteland,because of the violence done to the people of Judahin whose land they shed innocent blood.
Then the earth will become a wastelandbecause of its inhabitantsand as a result of their actions.
Therefore, as I live—this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts,the God of Israel—Moab will be like Sodomand the Ammonites like Gomorrah—a place overgrown with weeds,a salt pit, and a perpetual wasteland.The remnant of My people will plunder them;the remainder of My nation will dispossess them.
And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and he will destroy Assyria and will make Nineveh a desolation, a dry wasteland like the desert.
