Verily, verily, I say to you, he that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to the Father.

if, at least, ye continue in the faith, founded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Gospel, which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under the heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

And, seeing the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, as sheep having no shepherd.

But He, answering, said, "I was not sent, except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

but go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what Thou wilt."

strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;

that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit as to the inward man;

because our Gospel came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we became toward you, for your sake.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and sobriety.

that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit as to the inward man;

And God kept performing special miracles through the hands of Paul; So that there were even carried from his body to the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out.

And my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power;

And He saith to them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And, when they went up into the boat, the wind ceased.

Ye know the word that came throughout all Judaea, after the immersion which John preached; even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power; Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the Devil; because God was with Him.

And Jesus, coming near, spake to them, saying, "All authority was given to Me in Heaven and on earth:

And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee; and He was teaching them on the sabbath; and they were astonished at His teaching, because His word was with authority. And in the synagogue there was a man having a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, read more.
"Ha! what is there to us and to Thee, Jesus, Nazarene! Didst Thou come to destroy us? I know Thee, Who Thou art, the Holy One of God!" And Jesus rebuked it, saying, "Be silent, and come out from him." And the demon, hurling him into the midst, came out from him, having injured him naught. And amazement came upon all; and they were talking together, one with another, saying, "What is this word, that with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out!"

I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, even as the Father knoweth Me, and I know the Father; and I lay down My soul for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and they shall become one flock, one Shepherd. read more.
On this account My Father loveth Me, because I lay down My soul, that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This commandment I received from My Father.

Jesus spake these things; and, lifting up His eyes to Heaven, said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Thy Son, that the Son may glorify Thee; even as Thou gavest Him authority over all flesh, that to all Whom Thou hast given Him He should give eternal life. And this is the eternal life, that they know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom Thou didst send.

And He calleth to Him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two, and was giving them authority over the unclean spirits;

And, having called together the twelve, He gave them power and authority over all the demons, and to heal diseases; and He sent them forth to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick;

They, therefore, having come together, were asking Him, saying, "Lord, dost Thou at this time restore the Kingdom to Israel?" He said to them, "It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father placed in His own authority; but ye shall receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and ye shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria, and to the utmost limit of the earth."

And the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Thy name!" And He said to them, "I was beholding Satan fallen as lightning out of the heavens. Behold, I have given you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall in any wise harm you. read more.
Notwithstanding, rejoice not in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice, because your names have been written in Heaven."

In Him was Life; and the Life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. And ye have an anointing from the Holy One, and ye all know Him.

for, indeed, in one Spirit were we all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.

and, Paul having laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they were speaking with tongues, and prophesying. And all the men were about twelve.

And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Since, therefore, the children have partaken of blood and flesh, He Himself also in like manner took part of the same; that, through death, He might bring to nought him who had the power of death, that is, the Devil;

him whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and lying wonders,

But, having the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, "I believed, therefore did I speak"; we believe, therefore also we speak;

Through Sylvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I wrote to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God; within which stand ye.

And we are witnesses of these things; also the Holy Spirit, Whom God gave to those who obey Him."

for we cannot but speak the things which we saw and heard."

Having, therefore, obtained help from God, I have stood to this day, testifying both to small and great, saying nothing, except those things which both the prophets and Moses said would come to pass;

who, indeed, shall pay a penalty, eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

And, having called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.

And these signs shall accompany those having believed: in My name will they cast out demons: they will speak with tongues; they will take up serpents; and, if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

And they were not able to withstand the wisdom and the spirit with which he was speaking.

And the saying was pleasing to the multitude; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte of Antioch;

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and sobriety. Be not ashamed, therefore, of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner; but suffer hardship with me for the Gospel, according to the power of God,

Pilate, therefore, says to Him, "Dost Thou not speak to me? Knowest Thou not that I have authority to release Thee, and have authority to crucify Thee?" Jesus answered him, "You would have no authority against Me, unless it were given to you from above; on this account, he who delivered Me up to you has greater sin."

Let every soul be in subjection to the authorities that are over him; for there is no authority, except from God; and the authorities that are have been appointed by God. So that he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those having resisted shall receive to themselves condemnation;

And, if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will make alive your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.

But they, having gone forth, spread abroad His fame in all that land.

I planted, Apollos watered; but God causeth it to grow. So that neither is he that plants anything, nor he that waters; but God Who causeth it to grow. And he that plants and he that waters are one; but each shall receive his own reward, according to his own labor.

of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power.

(for He Who wrought for Peter with regard to an apostleship of the circumcision, wrought for me also with regard to the gentiles).

And all things whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

For the word of God is living, and effectual, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to a dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

So mightily grew the word of God, and prevailed.

Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,

for, indeed, He was crucified through weakness, but He liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him through the power of God toward you.

and what the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of the strength of His might,

But, if I by the Spirit of God cast out the demons, then the Kingdom of God came upon you unexpectedly.

But, if I, by the finger of God, cast out the demons, then the Kingdom of God came upon you unexpectedly.

Who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead??ven Jesus Christ our Lord,

Who, being an effulgence of His glory and an exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made a purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

but God chose the foolish things of the world, that He might put to shame the wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that He might put to shame the things that are strong; and the base things of the world, and things despised, did God choose, and the things that are not, that He might bring to nought the things that are; that no flesh should glory before God.

Who is on the right hand of God, having gone into Heaven, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that to come;

But He answered them, "My Father worketh even until now, and I work." For this cause, therefore, the Jews were seeking the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the sabbath, but also called God His Father, making Himself equal with God. Jesus, therefore, answered and said to them, "Verily, verily, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father doing; for whatsoever things He doeth, these also, in like manner, the Son doeth.

and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, nor shall any one snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who hath given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are One."

because in Him were all things created, in the heavens, and upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers??ll things have been created through Him, and for Him;

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world knew Him not.

All things were made through Him, and apart from Him was not even one thing made that has been made.

And every created thing which is in Heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, "To Him Who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the might, forever and ever!"

"Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because Thou didst create all things; and, because of Thy will, they were, and were created."

saying, "We give thanks to Thee, O Lord God, the Almighty, Who art, and Who wast; because Thou hast taken Thy great power, and didst reign.

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing, foolishness; but to those who are being saved, it is the power of God.

And, with great power, were the apostles giving forth their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus; and great grace also was upon them all.

And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.

and they were astonished at His teaching, because His word was with authority.

And it came to pass that, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at His teaching; for He was teaching them as One having authority, and not as the scribes.

And, even if our Gospel has been veiled, it has been veiled in those who perish; in whom the god of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should not shine upon them.

to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time, and now, and forever and ever. Amen.

but ye shall receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and ye shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria, and to the utmost limit of the earth."

and suddenly there came out of Heaven a sound, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

And, behold, I send forth the promise of My Father upon you; but abide ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high."

but ye shall receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and ye shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria, and to the utmost limit of the earth." And, having said these things, while they were beholding, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him from their sight.

For, not as having followed after cunningly-devised stories, did we make known to you the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but as having been made spectators of His majesty.

And then will they see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Since, therefore, the children have partaken of blood and flesh, He Himself also in like manner took part of the same; that, through death, He might bring to nought him who had the power of death, that is, the Devil;

having despoiled the principalities and the powers, He made an example of them, celebrating a triumph over them in it.

and He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as Head over all things to the assembly,

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand.

The Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the proclamation might be fully announced, and that all the gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of a lion.

I am strong enough for all things in Him Who strengtheneth me.

Whence also He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, since He is ever living to intercede in their behalf.

And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him Who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.

of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power.

having been buried with Him in your immersion, in which ye were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, Who raised Him from the dead;

for, indeed, He was crucified through weakness, but He liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him through the power of God toward you.

for the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

because our Gospel came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we became toward you, for your sake.

And the men wondered, saying, "What manner of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!"

And it came to pass, on one of the days, that He was teaching; and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come out of every village of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present with Him to heal.

in the word of truth, in the power of God; through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

Be not ashamed, therefore, of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner; but suffer hardship with me for the Gospel, according to the power of God,

And what if God, willing to show forth His wrath and to make known His power, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted for destruction;

Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This commandment I received from My Father.
