as ye know how we dealt with each one of you, as a father with his own children, exhorting you, and encouraging you, and testifying, that ye should walk worthily of God, Who is calling you into His own Kingdom and glory.
Let a widow be enrolled, when she has become not less than sixty years old, having been a wife of one man, noted for good works; if she nourished children, if she used hospitality, if she washed the saints' feet, if she relieved those in tribulation, if she diligently followed every good work.
for ye both sympathized with those in bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your possessions; knowing that ye yourselves have a better possession and an abiding one.
Remember the prisoners, as bound with them; those ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.
