I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another helper, that he [the Father] may be with you forever. It is the Spirit of the truth. The world cannot receive it. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. I chose you out of the world. The world hates you because you are not of the world. Remember the word I said to you. A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed my word, they will obey yours also. They will do all these things to you for my name's sake. It is because they do not know the one that sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin. Now they have no excuse for their sin! He who hates me hates my Father also.
