Paul's Farewell To The Ephesian Elders

²⁰ I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house. ²¹ solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. ²² I am compelled by the spirit to go to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there.

Acts 2:38

I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

But the Scriptures shut up (imprisoned) (pictured) all things (mankind) under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Colossians 2:5

Even though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit (mental disposition). I am glad when I see the resolute firmness with which you stand together in your faith in Christ.

2 Timothy 2:25-26

He should instruct those who oppose using meekness. Perhaps God will give them repentance that they may know the truth.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves him that causes the birth also loves him that is born.

Who is the one who conquers (overcomes) (prevails over) the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
