And Jesus answering said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in the heavens.

Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in the heavens.

And he says to them, Ye shall drink indeed my cup, but to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, but to those for whom it is prepared of my Father.

I speak what I have seen with my Father, and ye then do what ye have seen with your father.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me:

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewn you of my Father; for which work of them do ye stone me?

If ye had known me, ye would have known also my Father, and henceforth ye know him and have seen him.

If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they had not had sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.

But this I avow to thee, that in the way which they call sect, so I serve my fathers' God, believing all things which are written throughout the law, and in the prophets;

and advanced in Judaism beyond many my contemporaries in my nation, being exceedingly zealous of the doctrines of my fathers.
