On their way, they came to a body of water and the eunuch said, See, here is water. What prevents me from getting baptized? Philip said: If you believe with all your heart, you may. He answered: I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He commanded the chariot to stop. They both went into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. After they came out of the water God's Spirit took Philip away. The eunuch did not see him again. He continued his journey rejoicing. Philip was seen passing through Azotus. He preached in all the cities, until he came to Caesarea.
The next morning we left for Caesarea where we entered the house of Philip the evangelist and one of the seven. Now this man had four virgin daughters, who prophesied.
