The curse of Yahweh [is] on the house of the wicked, and the abode of the righteous ones he blesses.

(She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

The ear that hears the reproof of life abides among the wise.

The fear of the LORD leads to life: and he that has it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

The patient abiding of the righteous shall be turned to gladness; but the hope of the ungodly shall perish.

A good stomach driveth away a man's disease; but when the spirit is vexed, who may abide it?

For the end is not yet come and thy patient abiding shall not be in vain.

Wrath is a cruel thing, and furiousness is a very tempest; yea, who is able to abide envy?

For riches abide not away, and the crown endureth not forever.

The man that wandereth out of the way of wisdom shall abide in the congregation of the dead.
