The fear of the LORD leads to life: and he that has it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

(She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

A good stomach driveth away a man's disease; but when the spirit is vexed, who may abide it?

The patient abiding of the righteous shall be turned to gladness; but the hope of the ungodly shall perish.

For the end is not yet come and thy patient abiding shall not be in vain.

Wrath is a cruel thing, and furiousness is a very tempest; yea, who is able to abide envy?

For riches abide not away, and the crown endureth not forever.
