And there are times when I promise to build up and establish a nation or kingdom.

“Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is His name,

I will establish my sovereignty over Elam. I will destroy their king and their leaders," says the Lord.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and with your hands have fulfilled it, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink-offerings unto her: establish then your vows, and perform your vows.

then said Jeremiah the prophet, - Amen! So, may Yahweh do! Yahweh establish thy words which thou hast prophesied by bringing back the vessels of the house of Yahweh and all them of the captivity, from Babylon unto this place.

I have known, O Jehovah, that not of man is his way, Not of man the going and establishing of his step.
