But, when ye shall pass over the Jordan, and settle down in the land which, Yahweh your God, is causing you to inherit, - and he shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye shall dwell securely,

When thou shalt enter into the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee, and shalt possess it and dwell therein, - and shalt say - I will set over me a king, like all the nations that are round about me,

Therefore shall it be when Yahweh thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about in the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee for an inheritance to possess it, then shalt thou wipe out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens, - thou shalt not forget.
