but another part falling upon good soil, became fruitful, some grains yielding an hundred, some sixty, and some thirty.

It is he then that made some, apostles: some, prophets: some, evangelists: and others, pastors, and teachers:

but the ground that received the grain, represents those, who hear the word, and consider it, who all become fruitful, some in one degree, and some in another.

they replied, some think you are John the Baptist, some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
