Let them alone. They are blind teachers! And if one blind man guides another, they will both fall into the ditch."

For whoever lacks these qualities is blind -- or short-sighted-- and forgetful of the cleansing that he has received from his former sins.

But whoever continues to hate his brother is in darkness and is living in darkness, and he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Because you say, 'I am rich, I have already become rich, I need nothing,' and you do not know that you are the very one that is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked;

At that time some people brought to Him a man under the power of demons, who was blind and dumb, and He cured him, so that the dumb man could talk and see.

You blind leaders, who are straining out the gnat but gulping down the camel!

You blind Pharisees! You must first clean the inside of the cup and the dish, so that the outside may be clean too.

Then they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him.

Then they came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho, with His disciples and a great crowd, Timeus' son, Bartimeus, a blind beggar, was sitting on the roadside.

So Jesus stopped and said, "Tell him to come here." Then they told the blind man, saying, "Cheer up! Get up! He is calling for you."

Then Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man answered, "Good Teacher, I want to see again."

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has consecrated me to preach the good news to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to send the downtrodden away in liberty and

Then He told them a story: "Can one blind man lead another? Will they not both fall into the ditch?

At that very hour He cured many people of diseases and scourges and evil spirits, and graciously granted sight to many blind persons.

And so He answered them, "Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind are seeing and the crippled are walking, the lepers are being healed and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised and the poor are having the good news preached to them.

But when you give a reception, make it your habit to invite people that are poor, maimed, crippled, or blind.

So the slave returned and reported these answers to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his slave, 'Hurry out into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor, the maimed, the crippled, and the blind.'

As He was approaching Jericho, a blind man chanced to be sitting by the roadside begging.

and in these there used to lie a great crowd of sick people, blind, crippled, paralyzed.

As He passed along, He saw a man who had been blind from his birth.

So His disciples asked Him, "Teacher, for whose sin was this man born blind, his own or that of his parents?"

Now his neighbors and those who saw that he was formerly blind, kept saying, "Is not this the man who used to sit and beg?"

They took the man who had been blind to the Pharisees.

Then again they asked the blind man, "What do you say about Him yourself, since He has made your eyes to see?" He answered, "He is a prophet."

But the Jews did not believe that he had really been blind and that he had come to see again, until they called the parents of the man who saw again,

and asked them, "Is this your son, and do you affirm that he was born blind? If so, how is it then that he now can see?"

His parents answered, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind.

So a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give God the praise; we know this man is a sinner."

Then he answered, "I do not know whether He is a sinner. I do know one thing, that once I was blind but now I can see."

It has never been heard of in this world that anyone ever made the eyes of a man who was born blind to see.

Then Jesus said, "I have come into this world to judge people, so that those who do not see may see, and those who do see may become blind."

Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard this, and asked Him, "We are not blind, are we?"

Jesus answered them, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty, but now you keep on claiming, 'We can see'; so your sin remains."

Others said, "These are not the words of a man who is under the power of a demon. A demon cannot make the eyes of the blind see, can he?"

But some of them said, "Could not this man, who made that blind man see, have kept Lazarus from dying?"

"He has blinded their eyes and benumbed their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes and understand with their hearts, and turn to me to cure them."

Right now the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be so blind that you cannot see the sun for a time." And suddenly a dark mist fell upon him, and he kept groping about begging people to lead him by the hand.

and if you are sure that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those in darkness,

In their case, the god of this world has blinded the eyes of the unbelievers, to keep the glorious light of the good news of Christ, who is the likeness of God, from dawning upon them.
