"Caesar's," they said. Then he told them, "Give Caesar what belongs to Caesar, give God what belongs to God."

This made Pilate anxious to release him, but the Jews yelled, "If you release him, you are no friend of Caesar's! Anyone who makes himself a king is against Caesar!"

So they brought one. He said, "Whose likeness, whose inscription is this?" "Caesar's," they said.

"Show me a shilling. Whose likeness and inscription does it bear?" "Caesar's," they replied.

Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's tribunal; that is where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong whatever to the Jews ??you know that perfectly well.
