And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, by no means art thou least among the leaders of Judah for out of thee shall come forth the leader, who shall feed my people.

And Mary having risen in those days, went into the mountainous country with haste, into a city of Judah;

For it is manifest that our Lord has sprung out of Judah; to which tribe Moses spake nothing of the priesthood.

For rebuking them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, and I will complete for the house of Israel and for the house of Judah a new covenant:

Of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand sealed.
