But Jesus took him by the hand, lifting him up; and he got up.
And they departed thence, and took their journey through Galilee, and would not that any man should have known it.
And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to them,
And they took to him little children, so that he might put his hands on them: and the disciples said sharp words to them.
And he took them in his arms, and gave them a blessing, putting his hands on them.
And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were full of wonder; but those who came after him were in fear. And again he took the twelve, and gave them word of the things which were to come on him,
Once again, Jesus took the Twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to him. "Pay attention! We're going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be handed over to the high priests and the scribes, and they'll condemn him to death. Then they'll hand him over to the unbelievers,
And they took the young ass to Jesus, and put their clothing on him, and he got on his back.
And he said to it, Let no man take fruit from you for ever. And his disciples took note of his words.
And it came to the ears of the chief priests and scribes, and they took thought how they might put him to death; being in fear of him, because all the people were full of wonder at his teaching.
And whenever you stand and pray, if you have anything against anybody, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven too may forgive you your shortcomings."
But if we say, From men--they were in fear of the people, because all took John to be truly a prophet.

For nation will rise against nation, and realm against realm; there will be earthquakes here and there, and famines too. All that is but the beginning of the trouble.
[It will be] too bad for those who are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days.
What she had, she used, - She took it beforehand to anoint my body for the burial;
And truly do I say to you, Wherever the glad tidings shall be published throughout the whole world, this too which she hath done will be told for a memorial of her.
And hearing what he said, they were glad, and gave him their word to make him a payment of money. And he took thought how he might best give him up to them.
For the Son of man is going [to die], but it is too bad for that person who will turn me over to the Jewish leaders It would be better for that man if he had not been born."

But he denied it again. And again a few minutes later the bystanders began to say to Peter, "You are surely one of them, for you are a Galilean too."
And the first thing in the morning the chief priests, with those in authority and the scribes and all the Sanhedrin, had a meeting, and put cords round Jesus, and took him away, and gave him up to Pilate.

It is too bad for you people when everyone speaks well about you, because the forefathers said the same thing about the false prophets.
To the man who strikes you on one cheek, offer him the other too; and from the man who takes away your coat, do not keep back your shirt either,
For I too am under authority of others, and have soldiers under me, and I order one to go, and he goes, another to come, and he comes, my slave to do this, and he does it."
And fear took hold on all: and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet is arisen among us: and, God hath visited his people.
They're like little children who sit in the marketplace and shout to each other, "A wedding song we played for you, the dance you all did scorn. A woeful dirge we chanted, too, but then you would not mourn.'
