"Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor, Felix, Greeting:

in every way and everywhere; we welcome it, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.

and understand His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,

so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be pure and without offense to the day of Christ;

having become by so much superior to the angels, as He hath inherited a more excellent name than they.

but now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much also as He is Mediator of a better covenant, which, indeed, has been enacted on better promises.
