My son, if sinners entice thee, do not consent. If they say, Come with us, let us lay in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without cause. Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol and whole as those that go down into the pit; read more.
We shall find all kinds of riches, we shall fill our houses with spoil. Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, do not walk in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.




Whosoever is partner with a thief hates his own soul; he hears cursing, and does not disclose it.

Follow peace with everyone and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord: looking diligently that no one deviate from the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up impede you, and thereby many be defiled,
















then beware lest thou forget the LORD, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


Beware, therefore, lest what is spoken of in the prophets come upon you:




And ye shall not walk in the practices of the Gentiles which I shall cast out before you; for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

But I said unto their sons in the wilderness: Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, neither keep their laws, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Do not meddle with an angry man, and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways and get a snare to thy soul.


When thou shall have come into the land which the LORD thy God gives thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those Gentiles.

in almost all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, among which are some things that are hard to understand, which those that are ignorant and unstable twist, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. The LORD will not forgive him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

See that you do not refuse him that speaks. For if those who refused him that spoke on earth did not escape, much less shall we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from the heavens,

Give glory to the LORD your God before he causes darkness and before your feet stumble in mountains of darkness, and while ye look for light, he turns it into the shadow of death and makes it gross darkness.

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be destroyed.

But if ye will not hear the voice of the LORD but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD shall be against you as it was against your fathers.

If ye forsake the LORD and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt and consume you, after he has done you good.

Therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that have taken rule over this people which is in Jerusalem.

And it came to pass as they brought them forth outside, that he said, Escape; for thy soul, do not look behind thee, neither stop thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
