So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west
And His glory from the rising of the sun,
For He will come like a rushing stream
Which the wind of the Lord drives.

Each will be like a refuge from the wind
And a shelter from the storm,
Like streams of water in a dry country,
Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.

There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.









For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”



He keeps the feet of His godly ones,
But the wicked ones are silenced in darkness;
For not by might shall a man prevail.



For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous.

My soul clings to You;

For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted;
State a proposal, but it will not stand,
