not Ashamed » Not ashamed, the righteous
therefore I have not been humiliated;
therefore I have set My face like flint,
and I know I will not be put to shame.
You will praise the name of Yahweh your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
My people will never again be put to shame.
As it is written:
Look! I am putting a stone in Zion to stumble over
and a rock to trip over,
yet the one who believes on Him
will not be put to shame.

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all boldness, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
But if anyone suffers as a “Christian,” he should not be ashamed but should glorify God in having that name.
So now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

He did this so they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.

I was helpless, and He saved me.

and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.
Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is.
We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.

The one who keeps His commands remains in Him, and He in him. And the way we know that He remains in us is from the Spirit He has given us.
We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.

For we know that if our temporary, earthly dwelling is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal dwelling in the heavens, not made with hands.

Who has believed what we have heard? And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to? He grew up before Him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. For He was cut off from the land of the living; He was struck because of My people's rebellion. They made His grave with the wicked, and with a rich man at His death, although He had done no violence and had not spoken deceitfully. Yet the Lord was pleased to crush Him, and He made Him sick. When You make Him a restitution offering, He will see [His] seed, He will prolong His days, and the will of the Lord will succeed by His hand. He will see [it] out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities. Therefore I will give Him the many as a portion, and He will receive the mighty as spoil, because He submitted Himself to death, and was counted among the rebels; yet He bore the sin of many and interceded for the rebels.
