'Face' in the Bible

Then the Lord said, “I will wipe off from the face of the earth mankind, whom I created, together with the animals, creatures that crawl, and birds of the sky—for I regret that I made them.”

Though his face is covered with fatand his waistline bulges with it,

You have shriveled me up—it has become a witness;My frailty rises up against me and testifies to my face.
