For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers,
I do not cease giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
always making my prayer with joy in every prayer of mine for you all,
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
Epaphras, who is one of your number, a servant of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

No one has ever seen God; God the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known.
But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord assigned to each one.
How then can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!"
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
