I AM one that bears witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he has testified of his Son.

For we have not made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cunningly devised fables, but as eyewitnesses of his majesty. For as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to the Son to have life in himself and has also given him power and authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this, for an hour shall come when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and those that have done good shall come forth unto the resurrection of life; but those that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is Jesus, the Christ, who came by water and blood; not by water only, but by water and blood.
