He has also prepared for him the weapons of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

Therefore shalt thou separate them; thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

Thine arrows, by which the peoples fall under thee, penetrate the heart of the enemies of the king.

Cast forth lightning and scatter them; shoot out thine arrows and destroy them.

And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.











According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let each one see how the building is built.



Who, when he came and had seen the grace of God, was glad and exhorted them all to remain in their purpose of heart in the Lord.

The voice of singing and saving health is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.



The LORD further said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and for certain it is a stiffnecked people. Now therefore let me alone that my wrath may wax hot in them and consume them; and I will put thee over a great nation. Then Moses grieved before the LORD his God and said, LORD, why shall thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? read more.
Why should the Egyptians speak and say, For evil did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains and to consume them from upon the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath and repent of the evil of thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy slaves, to whom thou didst sware by thine own self and hast said unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall take it for inheritance for ever. Then the LORD repented of the evil which he said should be done unto his people.


And Jesus knew their thoughts and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not remain;

But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every house or city divided against itself will not remain.


O LORD of the hosts, who examines that which is just, who seest the kidneys and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them; for unto thee I have opened my cause.


And Jesus, knowing afterward in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why think ye these things in your hearts?

But he knew their thoughts and said to the man who had the withered hand, Rise up and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.


and needed not that any man should give testimony, for he knew what was in man.



Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the God of the age is the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth? He does not faint, nor is he weary; and there is no one that can attain to his intelligence.

And if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.

Do not multiply thyself speaking great and lofty things; let arrogant words cease from your mouth, for the LORD is the all-knowing God, and the magnificent works are his.


Thou knowest my sitting down and my rising up, thou dost understand my thoughts from afar.



And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.



great in counsel and magnificent in works: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men to give unto each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings;


I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies, for all my ways are before thee.

Thou hast girded my walk and my rest, and hast prepared all my ways.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou didst know my path. In the way in which I walked have they secretly laid a snare for me.

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he weighs all his goings.

For my eyes are upon all their ways, which they have not hid from me, neither does their iniquity hide from the presence of my eyes.



and though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out of there; and though they hide from my sight in the bottom of the sea, from there will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:




And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps and make a visitation upon the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

But he that searches the hearts knows what is the desire of the Spirit, that according to the will of God, he makes entreaty for the saints.



The clouds poured out floods of waters; the heavens thundered; thy bolts of lightning also went forth.

LORD, when thou didst go out of Seir, when thou didst march out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped; the clouds also dropped water.

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of the one who is perfect in knowledge?

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

If the clouds are full of rain, they shall empty themselves upon the earth; and if the tree falls toward the south or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall remain. He that observes the wind shall not sow, and he that regards the clouds shall not reap.

before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain:


of the oath which he made to our father Abraham,

unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no longer give thy wheat to be food for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured:

The LORD of the hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:


and said, By myself I have sworn, said the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son;

Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.



But Aaron and his sons made incense upon the altar of the burnt offering and on the altar of incense, in all the work of the holy of holies, and to make reconciliation for Israel, according to all that Moses, the slave of God, had commanded.




And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are servants of the God of heaven and earth and rebuild the house that was built many years ago, which the great king of Israel built and founded.

And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, LORD God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel and that I am thy slave and that I have done all these things at thy word.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

And when he came to the den, he cried loudly with a sad voice unto Daniel; and the king, in speaking to Daniel said, Daniel, servant of the living God, has thy God, whom thou servest continually, been able to deliver thee from the lions?



When I am poor and needy; the Lord will remember me; thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Thou hast increased, O LORD my God, thy wonderful works which thou hast done and thy thoughts regarding us; they are beyond our ability to express, declare, or speak; they cannot be told.


Therefore, how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!




that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.


as he spoke by the mouth of the saints who from the beginning were his prophets;

that ye keep in memory the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of our commandment, that we are apostles of the Lord and Saviour,

All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,


And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel that was coming from the east; and his noise was like the noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

And the LORD shall cause the power of his voice to be heard and shall cause the lighting down of his arm to be seen, with the indignation of his countenance and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering and tempest and hailstones.


Father, clarify thy name. Then there came a voice from the heaven, saying, I have clarified it and will clarify it again. The people, therefore, that were present and heard it, said that it thundered; others said, An angel spoke to him.




And the voice of the shofar sounded long and waxed louder and louder; Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.


And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire, a still small voice,

And they sing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.


For my thoughts are not as your thoughts, neither are your ways as my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts more than your thoughts.


He stood and measured the earth; he beheld and drove out the Gentiles; and the ancient mountains crumbled, the ancient hills; the ways of the world bowed unto him.






Who is wise that he might understand this? and prudent that he might know this? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them; but the rebellious shall fall therein.





The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by intelligence has he established the heavens.

Who would not fear thee, O King of the Gentiles? for unto thee does it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the Gentiles and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

And Daniel spoke and said, Blessed be the name of God from age to age for wisdom and might are his;





Kiss the Son lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled in a little while. Blessed are all those that put their trust in him.

forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up the measure of their sins always, for the wrath of God has come upon them to the uttermost.



Go and enquire of the LORD for me and for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found, for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.



They drank wine and praised the gods of gold and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

Ye know that when ye were Gentiles, ye went, even as ye were led, unto the dumb idols.

Has a nation changed their gods? Even though they are not gods. But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

For all the gods of the people are worthless, but the LORD made the heavens.

Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense, who shall not be able to save them in the time of their trouble.

Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:


For though there are some that are called gods, whether in heaven or in the earth (as there are many gods and many lords),

Shall a man make gods unto himself? But they shall not be gods.
