Do not be quick in your spirit (mind) (figurative heart) to be angry. Anger rests in the bosom of fools.
But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing they produce quarrels (controversy) (fighting). The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind (gentle) to all, able to teach, and patient when wronged.
