Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.


Then Moses returned to the LORD, and said, "Alas, this people has committed a great sin, and they have made a god of gold for themselves. "But now, if You will, forgive their sin--and if not, please blot me out from Your book which You have written!"


Then he said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” But he said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”


"Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king in place of my father David, yet I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. "Your servant is in the midst of Your people which You have chosen, a great people who are too many to be numbered or counted. "So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"


Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin.


And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!”






“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night; and God said, “Ask what you wish Me to give you.”

Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain—
The Lord who makes the storm clouds;
And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.






“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;












Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of Yours?”

For if you cry for discernment,
Lift your voice for understanding;





Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear,
