That, no one, might be shrinking back in these tribulations. For ye, yourselves, know, that, hereunto, are we appointed;
All this, hath come upon us, Yet had we not forgotten thee, Neither had we dealt falsely with thy covenant; Our heart had not drawn back, Nor had our goings swerved from thy path; That thou shouldst have crushed us down in the place of wild dogs, And covered us over with a deadly shadow.
Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? - According as it is written - For thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter. - Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us.

Who, arriving, and seeing the favour which was of God, rejoiced, and went on to beseech all, with the purpose of their heart, to abide inthe Lord;
Yahweh thy God, shalt thou revere, Him, shalt thou serve, - And unto him, shalt thou cleave, And in his name, shalt thou swear.

Let us hold fast the confession of the hope without wavering, - for, faithful, is he that hath promised;
Having then a great high-priest who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession;

For, though, indeed, in the flesh, I am absent, yet, in the spirit, with you, I am - rejoicing, and beholding your order and the solid firmness of your Christ-ward faith.
Whom resist, steadfast in your faith, knowing that, the same sufferings, in your brotherhood that is in the world, are being accomplished.

Only, in a manner worthy of the glad-message of the Christ, be using your citizenship; in order that - whether coming and seeing you, or being absent, I may hear of the things which concern you - that ye are standing fast in one spirit, with one soul, joining for the combat along with the faith of the glad-message;
