The heads of it judge for a bribe, and the priests of it teach for a wage, and the prophets of it divine for money. Yet they lean upon LORD, and say, Is not LORD in the midst of us? No evil shall come upon us.
For from the least of them even to the greatest of them everyone is given to covetousness. And from the prophet even to the priest everyone deals falsely.
His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They cannot bark, dreaming, laying down, loving to slumber.
For both prophet and priest are profane. Yea, in my house I have found their wickedness, says LORD.
Thy prophets have seen FALSE and foolish visions for thee. And they have not uncovered thine iniquity, to bring back thy captivity, but have seen for thee FALSE oracles and causes of banishment.
But if the watchman sees the sword come, and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes, and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at the

And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and was working, for they were of the tentmakers craft.
For ye remember, brothers, our labor and the hardship. For, laboring night and day in order not to burden any of you, we preached to you the good-news of God.
Ye yourselves know that these hands served my needs, and to those who were with me.

For the scripture says thou shall not muzzle an ox that is threshing. And the workman is worthy of his wage.
no bag for the road, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor staffs, for the workman is worthy of his provision.
And so the Lord commanded those who proclaim the good-news to live from the good-news.
But let him who is taught in the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Nevertheless ye did well having shared with my affliction.
