From that time forward Jesus made it clear to his disciples how he would have to go to Jerusalem. He told them he would undergo much at the hands of the authorities, including the chief priests and scribes. He let them know he would be put to death. The third day he would come back from the dead.

As he left the temple one of his disciples said to him: Teacher look at these stones and the great buildings! Jesus said: See these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another. They will all be thrown down.
Some spoke of how wonderful the temple was. How it was adorned with beautiful stones and offerings, Jesus replied: Concerning these things you see, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
When you see the disgusting abomination of desolation (unclean thing) spoken about through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that reads understand), you in Judea flee to the mountains; you on the housetop do not go down to remove the things in your house.read more.
You in the field do not return to get your clothes. You who are pregnant or nursing babies in those days will feel trouble. Pray that your flight not be in the winter, neither on a Sabbath. There will be great tribulation. It will be greater than any has ever been from the beginning of the world until now. Unless those days are shortened, no flesh will be saved. For the sake of the chosen ones (selected individuals), those days will be shortened. If someone says, 'Here is the Christ,' or, 'Over there is the Christ,' do not believe it. There will be false Christs and false prophets. They will show great signs and wonders so that many will be misled. This includes some of the chosen ones. Remember, I told you before it happens.
When you see the unclean thing that makes desolation standing where he ought not (let the reader use discernment), then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains. He who is on the housetop should not go down to enter and take anything out his house. He who is in the field should not return to take his clothes.read more.
Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! Pray that this not be in the winter. The tribulation in these days will be greater then there has ever been from the beginning of God's creation until now, and never shall be. Unless Jehovah shortened the days no flesh would be saved. For the sake of his chosen anointed he will shorten the days. If any man will say to you here is the Christ or there is the Christ do not believe it. There will arise false Christs and false prophets. They show signs and wonders that will mislead many, even the anointed. Be alert for I have told you all things beforehand.
When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies you will know that desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her leave. And let no one from the country enter. These are days of vengeance! All things written will be fulfilled.read more.
Woe to those who are pregnant and those who nurse a child in those days! There will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people. They will be killed by the edge of the sword. Some will be led captive into all the nations. The people of the nations will tread down Jerusalem until the time of the Nations is fulfilled.

While they sat and ate Jesus said: Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me, even he that eats with me. They were sorrowful and said to him one by one: Is it I? He said to them: It is one of the twelve, he that dips with me in the dish.
After Jesus said this he was troubled in spirit and said: One of you will betray me. The disciples looked at each other. They were perplexed and wondered who it would be. The disciple whom Jesus loved was leaning on his chest.read more.

Jesus said: I tell you Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, until you deny that you know me three times.
Jesus answered: Will you lay down your life for me? Truly I tell you the cock will not crow till you have denied me three times.
Truly, truly, I tell you, when you were young you dressed yourself and walked wherever you wanted. But when you become old, you stretch out your hands and another dresses you, and carries you where you do not want to go. Now this he spoke, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God.
