Do nothing in strife or vain glory, but in humility let each esteem others better than himself,

All things, therefore, which you wish men to do to you, do also thus to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

And as you wish men to do to you, do you also in like manner to them.

You call me Teacher and Lord; and you say well, for I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done.

Bear fruits, therefore, worthy of a change of mind. And say not within yourselves, We have Abraham for a father; for I tell you that God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham. Servants, be subject to masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your hearts as to Christ, not with eye service as pleasing men, but as servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart, performing service kindly as to the Lord and not to men, read more.
