Trust in Jehovah with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge (recognize) Him and He will make your paths straight.

The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. The righteous runs into it for protection.

Do not fear for I am with you! Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'

Peace I leave with you! My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives to you. Do not let your heart be troubled or full of fear.

I spoke to you that in me you might have peace. In the world you have tribulation. Be of good cheer for I have conquered the world!

([Sons of Korah]) God is our refuge and strength, a ready help in times of trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its arrogance.

God has not given us a spirit of timidity (fear), but of power and love and discipline.

I always keep Jehovah in front of me. When he is at my right hand (assisting me), I cannot be moved.

Throw your burden upon Jehovah and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken!

Throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.

You will keep the steadfast mind in perfect peace, because he trusts (hopes) in you.

Jehovah makes me powerful and strong; he has saved me. Listen to the glad shouts of victory in the tents of God's people: Jehovah's mighty power has done it! His power has brought us victory, his mighty power in battle!

You are my hiding place and my shield! I wait for your word. Depart from me, evildoers, that I may observe the commandments of my God.

I cleave to the dust. Revive me according to your word (as you promised).

This is my comfort in my affliction: That your word has revived me.

It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.

When I was in trouble, I cried out to Jehovah, and he answered me.
