However Samson stayed in bed until midnight. He got up and took hold of the city gate and pulled it up, doors, posts, lock, and all. He put them on his shoulders and carried them far off to the top of the hill overlooking Hebron.
God, the God of Israel, is awe-inspiring in his holy place. He gives strength and power to his people. Praise God!
He gives strength to those who grow tired and increases the strength of those who are weak. Even young people grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. Those who hope in Jehovah will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary! They will walk and not be faint.
You see I send the promise of my Father upon you. You are to wait in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.
You will receive power, when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good word and work.
I thank him that enabled me and counted me faithful, appointing me to his service, Christ Jesus our Lord.
God has not given us a spirit of timidity (fear), but of power and love and discipline.
Have I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.
Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the presence of all the people of Israel: Be determined and with good courage. Do not be afraid of people. I am with you. I will rescue you, says Jehovah.
Be strong Zerubbabel, said Jehovah. Be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, said Jehovah. Work! I am with you, said Jehovah of Hosts.

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace (loving-kindness) that is in Christ Jesus.
Now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace. This is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.
By the divine influence of God I am what I am. His grace was not given to me in vain for I labored more than all of them. Yet it was not I. It was the divine influence and favor of God in me.
Do not be carried away by varied (different) and strange teachings. It is good that the heart is established by grace and not by food. Those who are occupied by them are not benefited.
He answered: This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel. Then Jehovah of Hosts said: 'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.' Who are you, O Great Mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. He will bring the head stone with shouts of blessing.'

I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace that was given me according to the working of his power.
I was given a painful physical ailment that will keep me from being puffed up with pride because of the many wonderful things I saw. It acts as Satan's messenger to beat me and keep me from being proud. Three times I prayed to God about this and asked him to take it away. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me. I am meek (mild) and humble in heart. You will have a restful life,
Moses was a very humble (meek) man. He was more humble than anyone else on earth.
We did not try to get praise from anyone, either from you or from others, even though as apostles of Christ we could have made demands on you. But we were gentle when we were with you, like a mother taking care of her children. Having much affection for you, we were well pleased to impart the good news of God to you and also to share our lives with you. You have become very dear to us.
