Hallow yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Jehovah your God. And ye shall observe my statutes, and do them: I am Jehovah who hallow you.
For both he that sanctifies and those sanctified are all of one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
but as he who has called you is holy, be ye also holy in all your conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy.
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication;
according as he has chosen us in him before the world's foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;
For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.
But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Peter, apostle of Jesus Christ, to the sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by sanctification of the Spirit, unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

But shall not the act of favour be as the offence? And shall not as by one that has sinned be the gift? For the judgment was of one to condemnation, but the act of favour, of many offences unto justification. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye should no longer walk as the rest of the nations walk in the vanity of their mind, being darkened in understanding, estranged from the life of God by reason of the ignorance which is in them, by reason of the hardness of their hearts, who having cast off all feeling, have given themselves up to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greedy unsatisfied lust.read more.
But ye have not thus learnt the Christ, if ye have heard him and been instructed in him according as the truth is in Jesus; namely your having put off according to the former conversation the old man which corrupts itself according to the deceitful lusts; and being renewed in the spirit of your mind; and your having put on the new man, which according to God is created in truthful righteousness and holiness.

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
so as to walk worthily of the Lord unto all well-pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing by the true knowledge of God;
