For I was hungry, and you gave me food: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail; Or have eaten my morsel alone, and the fatherless has not eaten of it; (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided him from my mother's womb;)read more.
If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering; If his heart has not blessed me, and if he was not warmed with the fleece of my sheep; If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw I had help in the gate: Then let my arm fall from my shoulder blade, and my arm be broken from its socket.
Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are idle, encourage the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover a multitude of sins.
And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
You shall not hate your brother in your heart: you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
