And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.

who are being guarded by God's power, through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;

And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He Who calleth you, Who also will do it.

But the Lord is faithful, Who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

A temptation has not taken you, except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Because you kept the word of My patience. I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole inhabited earth, to try those who dwell upon the earth.
