Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the head of a corner? this is from the Lord, and is wonderful in our eyes?

And he looked at them and said, What, then, is this which is written? The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of a corner; every one that falls on that stone shall be bruised; but on whomsoever it shall fall it shall crush him to atoms.

if we are to-day examined concerning the good work done to the sick man, by what means he has been cured, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazoraean, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him has this man stood before you sound.
