And the people rejoiced, because they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to Jehovah. And David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

Therefore receive one another as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

And I went up by revelation. And I put before them the gospel which I proclaim in the nations, but privately to those seeming to be pillars, lest I run, or I ran, into vanity.

And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.

He will turn to the prayer of the forsaken and not despise their prayer.

And He said to them, which of you shall have a friend and shall go to him at midnight and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has come from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needs.

And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.

Before now you have asked nothing in My name; ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Behold, I cry out, Violence! And I am not answered. I cry aloud, but there is no justice.

Why do You stand afar off, O Jehovah? Will You hide in times of trouble?

And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day to question Him any more.

And they could not take hold of His words before the people. And they marveled at His answer and were silent.

And He did not answer him a word, so that the governor greatly marveled.
