{A song of the stairs} Blessed are all they that fear the LORD, and walk in his ways.
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give the praise, for thy loving mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me all the days of their life, that they and their children after them may prosper.

The fear of the LORD maketh a long life; but the years of the ungodly shall be shortened.
