He is the one who sends his promise throughout the earth. His word travels with great speed.

I shall run the way of your commandments, for you will enlarge my heart (increase my understanding) (set me free from sin).

Listen to me, my son. Accept what I tell you and live a long life. I taught you wisdom and the right way to live. Walk with wisdom and nothing will stand in your way. Run with wisdom and you will not stumble.

Even young people grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. Those who hope in Jehovah will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary! They will walk and not be faint.

I do not consider my life of any account. It is not dear to me so that I may finish the race, and I may accomplish the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to preach the good news of the grace of God.

You were running well! Who hindered you that you should not obey the truth?

Do all things without complaining (grumbling) (murmuring) and questioning (disputing). That way you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. You are seen as lights in the world. Hold fast to the word of life so I may rejoice in the day of Christ. That way I will not have labored in vain.

I am already being offered (poured out as an offering), and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight! I have finished the course! I have kept the faith! The crown of righteousness is laid up for me. The Lord, the righteous judge, will give it to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing (manifestation).

A great cloud of witnesses surround us. Therefore let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that easily entangles us. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
