Romans 5:12-18

Because of this, just as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death spread to all people because all sinned. Isaiah 59:1-2

Ephesians 2:8-9

John 3:16-17

For in this way God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world in order that he should judge the world, but in order that the world should be saved through him.

1 John 4:9-19

By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God sent his one and only Son into the world in order that we may live through him.
