Whoever sheds man's blood, his blood shall be shed by man; for He made man in the image of God.

whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

this shall be no stumbling to you, nor offense of heart to my lord, either that you have shed blood for nothing, or that my lord has delivered himself. And may Jehovah deal well with my lord, and you remember your handmaid.

These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul:

Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and ruin are in their paths.
