Take heed, brethren, left there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God:
By faith Rahab the harlot did not perish with them that believed not, having received the spies with peace.
who were dead in trespasses and sins, Wherein ye formerly walked, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in time past,
Whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he, that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see, they could not enter in, because of unbelief.
Let us labour, therefore, to enter into that rest, lest any one should fall, after the same example of unbelief.
He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the testimony in himself. He that believeth not God, hath made him a liar, because he believeth not the testimony which he hath testified of his Son.
If we say, we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Those by the way-side are they that hear; then cometh the devil and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
and considereth it not, the wicked one cometh, and catcheth away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the way-side.

But, as I have told you, ye do not believe, because ye are not of my sheep.
And ye have not his word abiding in you; for whom he hath sent, ye believe not.
Ye are of your father the devil, and your will is, to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth; for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it. But because I speak the truth, ye believe me not.
But tho' he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him; So that the word of the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled which he said, Lord, who hath believed our report? He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts, that they might not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and be converted, that I might heal them.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit; for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
And he could do no miracle there, save that he laid his hands on a few sick and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about thro' the villages teaching.

He that believeth on the Son, hath everlasting life: but he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

That they all may be condemned, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
