'Generations' in the Bible

This is the historical record of Adam's generations. When God created mankind, he made them in his own likeness.

God also said, "Here's the symbol that represents the covenant that I'm making between me and you and every living being with you, for all future generations:

Moses said, "This is what the LORD has commanded: "Set aside one omer of it for future generations, so that they may see the food with which I fed you in the desert when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.'"
