'Hears' in the Bible
Sarah said, "God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears about this will laugh with me."
"'When a person sins in that he hears a public curse against one who fails to testify and he is a witness (he either saw or knew what had happened) and he does not make it known, then he will bear his punishment for iniquity.

The Lord pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.
The godly cry out and the Lord hears; he saves them from all their troubles.
Look, they hurl insults at me and openly threaten to kill me, for they say, "Who hears?"

Say, 'Listen to what the Lord says, you kings of Judah and citizens of Jerusalem! The Lord God of Israel who rules over all says, "I will bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it ring!
The king of Babylon will become paralyzed with fear when he hears news of their coming. Anguish will grip him, agony like that of a woman giving birth to a baby.
but there is one who hears the sound of the trumpet yet does not heed the warning. Then the sword comes and sweeps him away. He will be responsible for his own death.
