'Practice' in the Bible
"And take care not to practice your righteousness before people to be seen by them; {otherwise} you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
Therefore whenever you practice charitable giving, do not sound a trumpet in front of you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, in order that they may be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward in full!
But you, [when you] practice charitable giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
And then {I will say to them plainly}, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!'
and are proclaiming customs that are not permitted for us to accept or to practice, [because we] are Romans!"

envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, [things] which I am telling you [in advance], just as I said before, that the ones who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
And [the things] which you have learned and received and heard about and seen in me, practice these [things], and the God of peace will be with you.
Practice these [things]. Be [diligent] in these [things], in order that your progress may be evident to everyone.

Everyone who is fathered by God does not practice sin, because his seed resides in him, and [he is] not able to sin, because he has been fathered by God.
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are evident: everyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, namely, the one who does not love his brother.
The one who does evil, let him do evil still, and the defiled, let him be defiled still, and the righteous, let him practice righteousness still, and the holy, let him be holy still."
