'Brass' in the Bible
And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
And this is the offering which ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and brass,
And thou shalt make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.

And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.
and the pillars thereof shall be twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets'shall be of silver.
And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, and the pillars thereof twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.
All the pillars of the court round about shall be filleted with silver; their hooks of silver, and their sockets of brass.
The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits, of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass.
All the instruments of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and the base thereof of brass, whereat to wash. And thou shalt put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
Take ye from among you an offering unto Jehovah; whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, Jehovah's offering: gold, and silver, and brass,

And he made the laver of brass, and the base thereof of brass, of the mirrors of the ministering women that ministered at the door of the tent of meeting.

And I will break the pride of your power: and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass;

And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed , because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.
And king Rehoboam made in their stead shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the captains of the guard, who kept the door of the king's house.
And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.

Is my strength the strength of stones? Or is my flesh of brass?
He shall flee from the iron weapon, And the bow of brass shall strike him through.

They are all grievous revolters, going about with slanders; they are brass and iron: they all of them deal corruptly.
Can one break iron, even iron from the north, and brass?

And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished brass.
Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross unto me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver.
