'Lofty' in the Bible

"There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens with its lofty clouds to help you.

“I have surely built You a lofty house,A place for Your dwelling forever.”

“I have built You a lofty house,And a place for Your dwelling forever.”

and Hezekiah hath not returned according to the deed done unto him, for his heart hath been lofty, and there is wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem;

Isn’t God as high as the heavens?And look at the highest stars—how lofty they are!

It observes all [the] lofty; it [is] king {over all that are proud}."

His ways are always secure;Your lofty judgments are beyond his sight;he scoffs at all his adversaries.

It is lofty and pleasing to look at, a source of joy to the whole earth. Mount Zion resembles the peaks of Zaphon; it is the city of the great king.

Walk about Zion, go all around her;Count her towers,

Like sheep they are headed for Sheol;Death will shepherd them.The upright will rule over them in the morning,and their form will waste away in Sheol,far from their lofty abode.

A lofty throne of glory from the beginning [is] the place of our sanctuary.

This is what the Lord GOD says: "Remove your turban! Take off your crown! Things aren't going to remain as they used to be. What is lowly will be exalted, and what is lofty will be brought low.

Think of Assyria, a cedar in Lebanon,with beautiful branches and shady foliageand of lofty height.Its top was among the clouds.

I will tend them with good pasture, and their grazing place will be on Israel’s lofty mountains. There they will lie down in a good grazing place; they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

Blow the horn in Gibeah,The trumpet in Ramah [the lofty hills on Benjamin’s northern border].Sound the alarm at Beth-aven:“Behind you and coming after you [is the enemy], O Benjamin [be on guard]!”
