'Net' in the Bible

For his own feet lead him into a net,and he strays into its mesh.

then understand that it is God who has wronged meand caught me in His net.

The nations have fallen into the pit they made;their foot is caught in the net they have concealed.

he lurks in secret like a lion in a thicket.He lurks in order to seize the afflicted;he seizes the afflicted and drags him in his net.

My eyes are always on the Lord,for He will pull my feet out of the net.

For man certainly does not know his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

Your children have fainted;they lie at the head of every streetlike an antelope in a net.They are full of the Lord’s fury,the rebuke of your God.

Hear this, priests!Pay attention, house of Israel!Listen, royal house!For the judgment applies to youbecause you have been a snare at Mizpahand a net spread out on Tabor.

As they are going, I will spread My net over them;I will bring them down like birds of the sky.I will discipline them in accordancewith the news that reaches their assembly.

Godly people have vanished from the land;there is no one upright among the people.All of them wait in ambush to shed blood;they hunt each other with a net.
