'Strength' in the Bible
When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth.”
You know that I have served your father with all my strength.
When it was told to Jacob, “Behold, your son Joseph has come to you,” Israel collected his strength and sat up in the bed.
“Reuben, you are my firstborn;My might and the beginning of my strength,Preeminent in dignity and preeminent in power.

They will therefore stumble over each other as if running from the sword, although no one is pursuing; and you will have no strength to stand up before your enemies.
But Moses said to the Lord, “Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought up this people from their midst,
Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’
But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn.
“For the Lord will vindicate His people,And will have compassion on His servants,When He sees that their strength is gone,And there is none remaining, bond or free.
I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in.

So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me where your great strength is and how you may be bound to afflict you.”

So he told her all that was in his heart and said to her, “A razor has never come on my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me and I will become weak and be like any other man.”
She made him sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his hair. Then she began to afflict him, and his strength left him.
“The bows of the mighty are shattered,But the feeble gird on strength.
“Those who contend with the Lord will be shattered;Against them He will thunder in the heavens,The Lord will judge the ends of the earth;And He will give strength to His king,And will exalt the horn of His anointed.”
Behold, the days are coming when I will break your strength and the strength of your father’s house so that there will not be an old man in your house.
Then Saul immediately fell full length upon the ground and was very afraid because of the words of Samuel; also there was no strength in him, for he had eaten no food all day and all night.

And all the accomplishments of his authority and strength, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media and Persia?
“What is my strength, that I should wait?And what is my end, that I should endure?
“Is my strength the strength of stones,Or is my flesh bronze?
“Wise in heart and mighty in strength,Who has defied Him without harm?

“Behold now, his strength in his loinsAnd his power in the muscles of his belly.
“I will not keep silence concerning his limbs,Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame.
“In his neck lodges strength,And dismay leaps before him.
From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strengthBecause of Your adversaries,To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said,“I love You, O Lord, my strength.”
The God who girds me with strengthAnd makes my way blameless?
For You have girded me with strength for battle;You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;He will answer him from His holy heavenWith the saving strength of His right hand.

Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength;We will sing and praise Your power.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd,And my tongue cleaves to my jaws;And You lay me in the dust of death.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;Therefore my heart exults,And with my song I shall thank Him.
The Lord is their strength,And He is a saving defense to His anointed.

The Lord will give strength to His people;The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly;Be to me a rock of strength,A stronghold to save me.
