'Various' in the Bible

Then the news about Him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to Him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And He healed them.

And God has placed these in the church:first apostles, second prophets,third teachers, next miracles,then gifts of healing, helping,managing, various kinds of languages.

Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up in [unselfish] love.
